

Matt Goto - Co-Coaching Director
Matt is the head lacrosse coach at Mater Dei, which recently finished their fourth year in existence, ranked number nine in the county. Goto also led the team to a CIF Division II title in only its third season. Before becoming a coach, Goto played lacrosse at Chapman University where he earned first team WCLL honors and was named an All American and team MVP.
Brian Dunn - Co-Coaching Director
Brian played Lacrosse for Corona del Mar HighSchool and was Team Captain in 2003-2004. He went on to play at Chapman University - 2 Years Defense, 2 Years Midfield. Brian was Corona del Mar's JV Head Coach from 2006-2009 and he is Co-Head Coach of Rudy’s Elite Lacrosse. Brian is currently the Head Coach of a top 5 High School program.
Brad Matzek
Brad was a member of the first Foothill High School lacrosse team in 1999 as an 8th grader, and then went on to play 4 more seasons after that as an attackman for Foothill where he won three Orange County championships and one State championship. He earned a lacrosse scholarship to NCAA Div. II Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU) in 2004.
Sam Siever
Sam played varsity 4 years in high school and was a 3 year starter at The Potomac School in Maryland. He played travel team lacrosse for Madlax, which played at the STX Shootout, the Tri-State Tournament, and Johns Hopkins Blue Chip Camp. Sam played 2 years of varsity college football and lacrosse at Clemson University which was ranked 11th in club standings.
Sam is currently the freshman coach and JV Assistant at Mater Dei High School.
Jon Capristo
Jon Capristo played Lacrosse as a goalie in high school and college in New Jersey. During high school, he helped his team win three consecutive state championships while earning 3rd Team All-State and All-American honors. He was a four year starter at Montclair State University where he posted 56 wins out of 86 games played. He still holds the college record for posting the all-time lowest single season goals against average (GAA) in NCAA Division III Lacrosse of 4.32. He is ranked 19th all-time with a career 7.10 GAA in Division III and 5th all-time for the lowest single season GAA across all-divisions in men’s NCAA Lacrosse.
Jon has coached youth boys 5/6, 7/8 graders, girls U15, and he is the Assistant Lacrosse coach at a local high school. He specializes in beginner/intermediate and advanced goalie training for all ages among both genders.
Tig Sarkisian
Tig Sarkisian played lacrosse as a midfielder at Cherry Creek high school in Colorado where they won a state championship his senior year in 2005. In 2004, he played in several tournaments for Team Denver. After high school he played 4 years at Chapman University where he played alongside Brian Dunn and was coached by Matt Goto. He also reffed several youth and high school games during high school and college. Tig currently plays men’s club lacrosse and is the assistant JV coach at Huntington Beach high school.
Meredith Weber
Meredith grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and began playing lacrosse at a young age. She moved to California in 2005 and was a member of one of the first women’s high school teams in the State. She played midfield 4 years at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. When not coaching, she teaches English at Mater Dei. She is currently an assistant coach for Mater Dei girl’s lacrosse team. Before Mater Dei, she was the Varsity coach at Tesoro High School for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons. In addition to coaching at the high school level, she has coached multiple camps and clinics through youth lacrosse programs to athletes between 5 and 15 years of age. Meredith is excited to be part of the Best Coast Lacrosse program and looks forward to working with the amazing athletes and families involved in the organization.
Kyndall Hagens
Kyndall began playing lacrosse with the Petaluma Rivercats lacrosse club in high school until they built a high school team during her sophomore year. She went on to play for the CSU Long Beach team for two seasons. For the last two years she has been coaching the lady Blackhawks.
